I didn't think my oil change was going to be over an hour. I was late for work. In my past experiences with dealerships, they would offer food/snacks and refreshments, where open on Saturdays and your vehicle would get a car wash. There was only coffee/water and my vehicle was not washed. The waiting area TV was set on one channel. It would have been nice to watch the News and not converting a van into a camper and sharks.

I had a great experience purchasing my car in 2021. Fast forward 4 years and my car no longer recognizes my key fobs!!! I returned to the dealer I purchased at for service. It was dropped off on a Wednesday morning at 7:30 am. Unfortunately the technicians couldn’t find a way to fix my car. GM was contacted and a plan was developed over the next day. Then my technician was not able to come to work on Friday and my car couldn’t be fit in the schedule. It stayed the weekend and I called for an update at the end of the day. Sadly it sat all day and no one was able to work on my car. This caused a lot of issues juggling schedules and cars in our family. When I expressed my frustration at the process, the manager called me and worked it out that my car would be serviced the next day. They understood the impact on my family and offered to drop the car off to me.

Room for improvement. The booking agent didn't capture everything I stated, as a result there wasn't enough time in the day to get what was needed done and service time took longer than expected. Likewise I was requested to drop off at 7:30 am and the car had not been looked at until after 2pm, probably because the work order was wrong and it appeared to have less work than needed on it and so service needed to go into another day. I noticed this in the e-mail appointment after hours and tried to use the modify appointment but couldn't change the customer states information so I made it a point to update the information at the time of drop off. Also parts needed came in late on the pick up day but couldn't be installed because the technician who worked on the car the first day wasn't there, I would have expected that part of the work order could have been delegated. In the end 3 of 4 items I brought it in for were not fixed (2 which I reported previously) and I need to come back yet again. I'm sure we'll get it all addressed but to answer your question "How did we do" I think the experience could have been better. One point to make is that Haley was great, communication was excellent with texting technology and was able to explain the situation and she gave me options to move forward at my discretion.

My windshield was cracked by the hailstorm that recently passed through and at first we called safelight. Their quote was pretty high so I said let’s give Rossi a call and see what they can do. The lady we spoke to gave us 2 options. Brand new windshield for $1000 plus dollars or an aftermarket windshield for half the price. Of course we opted for the aftermarket windshield. We asked her how long it might take to get it fixed and she got in touch with the person who had the windshield and got us in there the next morning to fix it. I couldn’t have gone smoother and they actually held onto the car for us overnight because the torrential rains came and we didn’t want to risk the windshield not being dry enough. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. I’m grateful they were there for us as they always have been in the past.

I was told I have a small leak and that I needed a radiator. Altho I purchased the vehicle at Rossi, I have an ESC that was not purchased there, and therefore, the service department told me I would not be able to use it at Rossi. That was very disappointing to me because I was hoping to be able to service my car there since I bought it there 3 months ago. I do have Bridgewater Chevrolet 6 miles from my house, and, since I was told to try and see if anyone else accepts it, I called them and they will gladly take my business. Sorry, I know customers are hard to come by these days, but you asked me to go somewhere else. "Maybe you can try another place that will accept your VSC." That is what I was told. I'm giving you 5 stars because I know how important scores are to a dealership, but understand it really is a 2-star review.

In general they are very good but this time when we relied on their timing they were unreliable. On friday June 20 we needed a new tire and rim and were driving on a donut tire and service made an appointment for Monday June 23, 8am said both parts would be in for replacement. Monday morning drove over 30 miles from our house on a donut and nothing was there and had to drive back. They said the called and left a message Sunday - NO MESSAGE WAS SENT OR RECEIVED but did get at 4 :48 PM Sunday confirmation for Monday appointment . Then to drive back Tuesday on the donut tire again - was not handled well at ALL.

I was told it was ready to be picked up. I picked it up and realized the mechanic either broke or didn’t install the spring correctly so the gas fill door would stay closed. So I left it to be repaired again. Side note grease was left on the door handle as well. Fast forward to after second repair was made, the dealership kindly delivered to my house. In doing so the person hit my garbage can at the end of my driveway leaving a streak mark down the passenger side bed. After she left we realized the gas fill door was still broken. Since I dropped it last night again for hopefully the last time for this to be fixed.

7/3/2025 I brought my Equinox in for a grinding sound in front passenger wheel. I was told it was the caliper but they had to order the part. I went back the next week (7/9/2025) they installed the caliper and I left with the same noise/problem ($753 ) and on the paperwork they stated I supplied the caliper which I did not. I called them and they said bring it back in 7/14/2025 they installed 2 front caliper brackets ($434) and now my “tire air pressure monitor is not reading the air in all 4 tires. Needless to say I am not happy with the time it took, the cost and now my “monitor” doesn’t work.

Todd was very nice and helpful - however, the policies that are in place ended up costing us more $$s that was unnecessary. We came in KNOWING the specific item/part that needed to be replaced, and shared it was an intermittent problem. Not only was our local mechanic (the vehicle being serviced is 12 years old) unable to install the part due to GM proprietary, but when we explained this, we still were told the diagnostic had to be done, at a cost of $199. The diagnostic failed to replicate the issue (the blower would NOT blow ANY air), and so we REQUESTED the part be ordered and replaced regardless - which is what we tried to do right up front. NOT pleased with the policies, and wanted to make sure our voice was heard.

As always the service department was great. Went in with a check engine light and needed standard oil change as well as front turn signal/side marker lights out. Check engine is for the catalytic converter which Hailey ordered and will be replaced soon. Turn signals were replaced as were the side markers with the OEM's I had already... side markers still not functioning but will address when the cat is replaced.

scheduling 2 weeks and more to get basic service is too long, it's unacceptable from a customer perspective really. I also can't understand why I'm asked to drop off at 8am but nothing gets done until late in the afternoon. Finally, for non textbook problems i feel the service manager doesn't go the extra mile to find the issues and just dismisses the customer.

Unfortunately the atmosphere at Rossi has changed . I had always thought that they had my back and weren't going to charge for needless things. GM lost a real jewel when Pat Colacci left .I live many miles from Rossi but would gladly drive the distant passing a few other Chevy dealers along the way because I TRUSTED him. At this last visit a couple of lug nut caps were left off . No big deal for sure . Mr. Colacci would always walk around my truck making sure everything was in order. I know there are still good people there ...but it feels different . It's very easy for me to replace those lug nut caps, but why should I have to.The visit before this one I had my wife 's GMC in for service . They suggested an oil pressure regulator valve .$673.36 !? Well I don't know .... Like I said there are still good people, like Hailey Yurchak ! But GM lost a good one !

Once again I was very disappointed with the service department. I scheduled an oil change and transmission filter change. I was told the service would take 2 hours. When i arrived for my appointment I was told that I was only scheduled for the oil change. At that time they informed me the service would take all day. I asked the service manager if they had a loaner car and they said that none were available. I asked for a ride he told me it was too far. The service then informed me that the free transmission filter change was only free between 7,000 and 8,000 miles, everything I have read states the service is free if done in the first 2 years. This is not the first time I have had a problem with your service department. My business has bought 8 to 10 vehicles since 2016. I will not be buying any more vehicles or using your service department in the furture.

I have been a Rossi service customer for roughly 20 years. Rossi changed my defective brake pads under warranty which were squealing during a stop. They kept me posted on the repairs and always offer me a ride home until the repairs can be completed. Thus far, repairs appeared to have solved the issue. I elected to remain in the waiting area, a comfortable clean area offering water and coffee until repairs were completed. Staff is always professional.

Check in was easy, the staff was very friendly. I made the appointment to have GMC mud guards installed on my new Canyon and to have the alignment corrected as the truck pulled to the right. The alignment was done correctly. The rear mud flaps were not installed correctly (missing 5 fasteners) and a hole was drilled into the truck and no fastener was installed. The right rear mud flap had a lot of movement. I called service in the late afternoon to advise them. I was told to bring it in the next morning. The service manager and the rest of the staff were very apologetic and assured me it would be corrected. It was, and the flaps were correctly installed on the return visit. I’d give the return visit 4 stars because I had to take time off from work and go back. If everything was done correctly the first time, I’d rate the service 5 stars. To be fair, the original visit on the 11th was an anomaly as I’ve had other cars serviced here without incident.

Serviced 3/20/2025 Car temp originally ran at 210 (the correct temp). Brought it in running at 170-180. They said they couldn’t duplicate the concern(???) Not sure what they were trying to duplicate – they obviously did not understand the issue. Changed coolant fluid – nothing else -- Charged us 103.82. Still ran at 170-180. Talked to several other NJ chevy dealers – who agreed – it should be running at 210. Called Rossi before current service - who also agreed it should be running at 210. Service on 12/16/25 Brought the Suburban back in – concern was it was still running at 170. They said they couldn’t duplicate the issue(????) They totally didn’t understand what the problem was – either time. I suggested they just change the thermostat but now they charged us $767 labor for a $132 thermostat and replaced the coolent AGAIN What don’t they understand about fixing cars? Assistant service mgr (female) was rude and told me I was wrong about what the car should run at. Total lack of understanding the issue. We also had poor gas mileage in the past 9 months due to this. KEY: Hoping it didn’t permanently damage the catalytic converter. We want this documented in the Suburban’s service folder! A 2016 Suburban's normal engine operating temperature is typically around 195°F to 220°F (90°C - 105°C), with the gauge needle resting near the middle, often around 210°F for GM engines, but it can fluctuate slightly with A/C use or heavy loads; consistent readings above 220°F or in the red zone indicate overheating, while readings much below this suggest a thermostat issue. Long term issues: • Increased Engine Wear: Engines are designed to operate at specific temperatures to ensure optimal component fit and lubrication. When an engine runs too cold, internal components are looser than designed, leading to excessive and uneven wear over time. • Oil Sludge Formation: An engine that consistently runs cold doesn't get hot enough to vaporize condensation and moisture that builds up in the crankcase. This moisture contaminates the engine oil, forming a thick sludge that can reduce lubrication efficiency and potentially starve engine components of oil. • Carbon Buildup: The incomplete combustion caused by a rich fuel mixture at low temperatures leads to increased carbon deposits in the combustion chambers, on spark plugs, and potentially within the catalytic converter, which can cause costly downstream issues. • Reduced Fuel Efficiency: The continuously rich fuel mixture significantly lowers fuel economy, costing you more at the pump. We have bought at least 5 cars from your company. When our catalytic converter goes due to inept service – please refer to this file. It should have been repaired 9 months ago. No call to tell me my Acadia was complete. I had to call to see if my suv was done. Was told they were busy and got disconnected . No call back! I called back into gm dealership asked to be transferred to service dept. and was sent to there dodge dealership. Dodge dealership answered in confusion but definitely did there best to get back to gm dealership asked. When service rep answered all I got was your sub is done. Had to ask what fix was. Even then it’s different from what paper work of service tech did. I was told they replaced something(wireless charger) and paper work says they didn’t. Even now the wireless charger works then doesn’t work. Plan on calling in again for another apt.

Unfortunately, I had one of the faulty 6.2 motors in my silverado. When we broke down we immediately called the dealership. Mike the sales manager immediately offered assistance in getting the car to the dealership. It was a Friday evening and service was already closed. By Monday afternoon I was contacted and informed of the next course of action and the time line. Considering the holiday week ( Xmas to New Year) the dealership remained in contact regarding progress. The car has been repaired and returned in a timely manor , all covered under warranty.
